About Ganesha

Ganesha is a widely worshiped deity in the Hindu pantheon. His image is found in India and Nepal. His worship is mainly confined to Hindu sects and varies in intensity throughout India and Nepal. Ganesha is regarded as the god of the senses and the source of all knowledge and wisdom. He is often referred to as the "God of wisdom" and "the God of creation."

Family and consorts

In Hinduism, a married woman is referred to as a sarwa, and a man is referred to as a sampati. Ganesha is commonly worshiped as the son of Shiva and Parvati, but the Puranic myths give different accounts of his birth. One of the most widely told stories is that Ganesha was born to Parvati as a result of her ill-treatment at the hands of the demon king, Kumbha. Some accounts state that Ganesha was born to Shiva and Parvati, while others state that Parvati was the mother of Ganesha. The differences in the stories are due to differences in the versions of the Puranic texts.

Shiva Purana

The Shiva Purana (Shiva Dhvaja), which is one of the most important texts in the Hindu religion, describes the creation of the world, life, the universe, and the appearance of the god Shiva. It describes the various forms that Shiva took in order to teach his followers the art of transformation, which is a fundamental principle of Hinduism.
